TPN dispensing systems are systems that prepare daily medicines for premature infants in neonatal intensive care units or adults fed by intravenous feeding according to the orders written by the doctor.
The filling device is an integral system that draws liquids in the desired level by controlling 20 separate channels and controls the accuracy independently of itself.
Order preparation software is a computer program that allows to prepare TPN orders, which are prepared by manual calculation by doctors, in digital form. Physicians take the patient's day, weight change and past orders as reference when preparing an order. The program offers suggestions based on the total parenteral nutrition guidelines of the Turkish Neonatology Association, taking into account the age and actual weight of the patients for whom the orders are prepared. Doctors can graphically display the amount of solutions given in past orders and the weight values of patients. Furthermore, the program records all retrospective operations and also provides an opportunity to review them when it is required.
Filling software operates with a barcode reader. There are buttons representing each channel on the main screen of the software. The solutions can be introduced to the system through these buttons and barcode reader. Since the barcodes on the channels and the barcodes of the solutions placed on the channel are read consecutively, the error rate is minimized. When the process of introducing the solution to the channels is completed, an ordering barcode, which is prepared and recorded in an order preparation software, is read. The filling software identifies the barcode and indicates to the user how much solution to be drawn that is connected to the channel. When the user approves it on the screen, the software will check that all required solutions are installed and that whether the amount of liquid in the installed solutions is sufficient to prepare the mixture. If all conditions are suitable, it initiates the filling process by sending necessary information to the filling device. The user can graphically display the operations performed from the main screen of the software during the filling process. It also gravimetrically checks the accuracy of the process after liquid is drawn through the channel by comparing the filling made volumetrically through each channel with the weight data sent by a program-independent precision scale.
Modular Clean Room Units, which have product protection feature at maximum level, consist of ''Clean Room'', ''Anteroom'' and ''Control Unit'' sections. There 2 Pass-boxes used for material transfer between the External Environment/ Anteroom and Clean Room. Both sections have positive air pressure and the cleaning class is ISO-7 (Class 10.000. When the door is opened with the electronic control system, there is no air flow from outside to inside and clean environment is protected continuously.
